Blood Bowl Halflings
[introduksjon] [priser]
[fordeler&ulemper]
[taktikker]
 |
|
|
Pros: Cheap replacement players,
Master Chefs, Treemen allies
Cons: Below average strength, speed, and
armor, high rate of player turnover
The fact that Halflings have even attempted
to field Blood Bowl teams is a credit to their bravery.
Halfling teams are legendary for being the absolute
worst in any league they play in! At first Halflings
may seem to be perennial cellar dwellers, however
an extraordinary coach with enough tactical genius
can take a Halfling team all the way to the top
and clean out the snack vendors of their local Blood
Bowl Stadium while doing it!
|
|
Halflings really are just plain poor at Blood Bowl.
They run at half pace, have the weakest armor in
the game and tend to be distracted by all of the
refreshment stands on the sidelines. Regardless
of this, Halflings also have the lowest hiring fee
of any player in the entire game - 30,000 Gold Crowns
each! Plus, their small size lets them slip through
the opposing line with suprising ease. Just don't
think for one minute that they'll be blocking any
Ogres one-on-one or even three-on-one!
Since Halflings are so good natured
and have an affinity for the creatures of the forest,
they can often convince a mighty Treeman Star Player
such as Deeproot Strongbranch or one of his brethren
to play for their team.
|
|
 |
These titans of the woodlands
have an Armor Value of ten (!) and Strength of seven
which more than makes up for the weak line that Halflings
manage to field. Unfortunately, Treemen have a movement
of two, they have to "go for it" just to
move at a crawl!
|
|
While Halflings don't hire Wizards
for their Blood Bowl teams, they could never come
to a match without bringing along a little something
to nosh on. Therefore, a Halfling team has the option
of hiring a Halfling Master Chef to accompany them
to games just like a
|
 |
wizard. The smell of the Master Chef's
cooking is so enticing that it distracts the opposing
team and encourages the Halflings to play harder
(so they can finish up and get to the post-game
feast)! At the start of each half, the Halfling
Master Chef gives the Halfling team a chance to
take away the opposing team's rerolls and add them
to their own!
