Bowl Chaos Dwarves

Possibly one of the most underrated teams in Blood
Bowl, Chaos Dwarfs are as hard as the volcanic rock
of their homelands. Coaches who are looking to run
a team that's tough as well as flexible will sing
their praises to Hashut as they begin to assemble
their Blood Bowl Chaos Dwarfs and Hobgoblins team!

Chaos Dwarfs are as sturdy as their uncorrupted
northern relatives and each player starts out with
Block, Tackle and Thick Skull. This combination,
along with an above average Armour Value, makes
Chaos Dwarfs exceedingly tough on the line. The
only thing that keeps Chaos Dwarfs from being the
perfect Blood Bowl race is their short legs. Being
a bit vertically challenged, Chaos Dwarfs move at
an astounding crawl of four squares a turn. One
would think that this would cripple them in the
Blood Bowl arena. However, the cruel Chaos Dwarfs
follow the philosophy of "If you can't do something
well, enslave some other poor sap to do it for you."
Thus were born Blood Bowl Hobgoblins.

Forced to perform menial tasks by their Chaos Dwarf
masters, it was only a matter of time before someone
thought to put them on the Blood Bowl pitch. Unfortunately,
Hobgoblins are some of the stupidest creatures that
ever strapped on spiked armor. Only slightly more
mentally alert than Trolls, Hobgoblins still manage
to give Chaos Dwarf teams a boost in Movement and
Agility that their shorter teammates sorely lack.
Added to this is the fact that Hobgoblin players
are some of the cheapest to hire in the entire game
(40,000 gold pieces each) and there's no reason
not to include as many as you can on a Chaos Dwarf
team.

With a little luck, determination
and the favor of Hashut, a skilled coach should
be able to take a Chaos Dwarf team all the way to
the big game. Clever players will want to check
out the Star Players: Hthark the Unstoppable and
Gnashrak Blackhoof as each of these furious Blood
Bowl monstrosities is perfect for adding even more
devastating power to any Chaos Dwarf team!
